Varenna, facing Bellagio
Varenna is the village of coloured houses on the water and of Villa Monastero, on the eastern shore of the lake: you can also reach it by train, at Varenna-Esino station on the Milan to Tirano line. From the jetty you have Bellagio right opposite and, on the other shore, Tremezzo and Villa del Balbianello.
The boat picks you up at the Varenna jetty, at the same price as every other village. The routes described in the tours start from the first basin: if you board here the order of the stops adapts and you agree it with the skipper.
